This is a podcast discussion excerpt between Missy Wallace and Brandon J. O'Brien from Redeemer City to City. Christians are encouraged to consider what is meant by the public sphere, and how churches might equip their members to demonstrate Christ in many different realms of work and influence.

"The Global Faith & Work Initiative is the arm of City to City that really focuses on faith and work. We're trying to equip, connect, and mobilize churches and individuals to live missionally for Christ in all aspects of their life, particularly their work life, and realize that the gospel changes everything, including their work. We are trying to help pastors equip the people sitting in their seats to know how to go out and be the church, to love people, places, and things in their workplaces, to think about their work at the heart, community, and world level."

"Faith and work is not a side gig; it's not an extra. It's how you live the gospel, all-in, every single day, and understand that the gospel changes everything. And that means work."
