Our Partners

What is partnership?

Partnership is really about co-venturing in mission with others. The Apostle Paul (Phil1:5) talks about partnership in the gospel from the first day till now. His fondest recollections in 4: 14-16 are that the Philippians are business partners in the work of the gospel. Historically and experientially, God seems to bless the efforts of those who try to connect on a wider gospel level. A quick glance of church history confirms that when Christians connect over mission, the greater is the impact. Practically, what does partnership look like from both sides?

Engage Ambassadors

There are church members with a passionate voice for workplace mission who:

  • ● Encourage their church to see the vision of workplace mission
  • ● Invite other workers in their church to join workplace prayer teams
  • ● Promote Engage Work Faith public space events and training.

Financial Support

A partner recognises & endorses “Engage Work Faith” as a financially worthy place for gospel investment for their members. Engage Work Faith may be part of the wider church mission budget.

Sharing Resources

Partners provide venues, sponsor an event or bulk ticket purchasing, give in kind & share equipment. Engage provides pastors with the opportunity to audit their congregation as workers in various occupations and locations around SA.

Training

“Engage Work Faith” provides specialist training in workplace evangelism, apologetics, theology of work and tries to direct pastors to the best resources and diagnostic tools.

"Perhaps the reason that Western Christians today lament their lack of access to or influence within the ‘public square’ is that once, within our race memory, we were among the powerful who […]
